Jack's Pack?

Now a complete Nikon convert, Jack carries two Nikon D800e cameras and a D3s Nikon as well.  All have Really Right Stuff “L” brackets.

He has all three Nikkor perspective correction lenses: 24mm, 45mm, and the 85mm.

In addition, the 70-300 VR Zoom, and the incomparable 14-24mm Nikkor wide-angle zoom as well as:

70-200mm Nikkor f 4.0 zoom

500mm f 4.0 Nikkor

80-400mm Nikkor f4.5-5.5 zoom

A 200mm Micro-Nikkor, the new 70-200 Nikkor zoom offers a wide range of coverage possibilities.

Nikon’s intervalometers  help with long time exposures and The Lightning Trigger help capture storm drama.

Field downloads are to a Apple MacbookPro equipped with both and standard 500mb hard drive and a 500mb solid-state drive.  It has 8 gigs of ram and Jack always wants more….

Back up is done using three Lacie hard drives, and all is packed into some amazing Thinktank products.

The“go to” camera pack is the “Streetwalker Pro”. 

For longer trips it’s the “Airport “Accelerator” and the “Urban Disguise” for the laptop, drives, cables, 

The venerable Arca Swiss F-Field 4X5 film Camera with three lenses that he’ll never sell: 80mm Schneider Super Symmar, the 120mm HM Makro-Symmar and the 240mm f 9.0 Fujinon, are all still part of the kit, for fine art photography, with Fuji Quickload Velvia 50 film 

and a Pentax Spotmeter. 

Under constant use are the new Really Right Stuff TVC-33 Versa heavy duty tripod and the TVC 23 Versa, both with leveling heads.

The Gitzo 1325 Carbon Fiber tripod Tripod has the Wimberly head to accommodate the 600mm Nikkor.  All tripods have have Really Right Stuff BH-55 and BH-25 and BH-40 Ballheads.  In addition,
